Start your day at the Independence Hall in downtown Tel Aviv where David Ben Gurion declared Israel's Independence in 1948. Head north via the Coastal Plain to visit Caesarea, city of Cornelius the Centurion and place of Paul’s trial. Ascend Mt. Carmel where Elijah held the contest with 450 prophets of Baal.

Day 2 Fri 2 March 12

Day 3 Sat 3 March 12
Start your day with morning devotions, and then visit Cana of Galilee to visit the Wedding Church. Our next stop is Nazareth where Jesus spent most of his life. Explore Nazareth Village to see this re-constructed community from Jesus’ boyhood. Then explore Har Megiddo (Armageddon) to view the ruins of 21 superimposed cities including the remains of King Solomon's days. After diner, meet to discuss the day, and to prepare for tomorrow.

Day 4 Sun 4 March 12
Visit the Mt. of Beatitudes, where Jesus delivered the Sermon on the Mount and share communion before visiting
Capernaum, Jesus adult home in Galilee.. See Tabgha and the Church of the Loaves and Fishes. Visit the Ancient boat from Jesus’ time. End the day with a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee where Jesus walked.

Day 5 Mon 5 March 12
Drive through the northern Galilee to Caesarea Philippi, or Banias, source of the Jordan river. Continue to Mount Ben Tal with a prophetic view of the road to Damascus. Return through Kursi and overview of the Sea of Galilee from the Golan Heights. Enjoy a dinner of St. Peter’s fish at Kibbutz Ein Gev.

Day 6 Tue 6 March 12
Depart the Sea of Galilee. Visit the traditional Jordan River baptism site, then head south via the Jordan Valley Rift. Take in the oasis of Ein Gedi and hike through the nature preserve to the waterfall where David cut Saul's garment. Visit Masada where a cable car takes us to Herod's magnificent fortress, site of the zealots' last stand against Rome. At the end the day, arrive in time for a swim in the Dead Sea before dinner.
Day 7 Wed 7 March 12
We begin our day at Qumran, site of the amazing Dead Sea Scrolls discovery. Stop at southern Jordan River baptism site of Qasr al-Yahud to discuss Joshua and the Israelites crossing the Jordan. Then we begin our journey to Jerusalem, with a stop at the Inn of the Good Samaritan. Arrive Jerusalem! Afternoon visit to Bethlehem. Visit the complex of the Basilica of the Nativity and the close-by Shepherds field.

Day 8 Thu 8 March 12
Start your day at the Western Wall of the Temple Mount, and tour the Davidson Center to take in the southern wall excavations. Enjoy lunch and visit the Jewish Quarter, stopping at Shorashim store for a visit with Moshe and Dov Kepinski. Depending on availability, either visit the top of the Temple Mount, or Walk along the Hasmonean tunnel from the 2nd century B.C. Visit the Bridges for Peace Distribution Center in Tapiot.
Evening First Century Biblical Dinner served by Bridges for Peace staff in Jerusalem.
Overnight: Grand Court Jerusalem
Day 9 Fri 9 March 12
Enjoy a magnificent view of Jerusalem from the Mount of Olives. Descend into the Garden of Gethsemane. Visit to the Church of St. Peters in Galicantu; followed by the Upper Room of the last supper and King David's Tomb. After lunch on the Christian Quarter of the Old City visit the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. End your day at the Garden Tomb with a Communion service.
Dinner and Overnight: Grand Court Jerusalem.
Late night transfer to Ben Gurion Airport.

NOTE: We will begin each morning with a short devotion; and end most days with a 30 minute meeting to share thoughts on the day and the trip to that point.
